The creative behind the copy
(Think Dundler Mifflin. I'm the creative person's creative copywriter)
Hey, I'm Natasha! The one-woman band behind Natasha Adlam Copywriting.
Let's just cut to the chase here. My business is all about making you feel relaxed. Before I was a freelancer, I worked for companies where you could *literally* feel the buzz of stress...
You don't want that. (And neither do I.)
I'm here to get rid of your copy stress, so you can feel more joy and relief (like you're relaxing on the beach).
So, what's causing your copy stress?
- Maybe you're not very good at getting your words on the page. It's okay, some people just aren't! You can chat away about your business, but there's a real disconnect when you try and write about it (so your copy sounds weirdly formal and robotic like a school essay).
- Perhaps you know your copy is draining to read, but you're not sure what to do about it. It can be hard to work out how to make it more creative and engaging (changing the font colour won't cut it!).
- You just don't have time to write your copy. You're a busy business owner and you've got lots of spinning plates. Instead of letting them crash to the floor, let me help.
Your copy is really important. (But you already know that.) Your copy lets your customers know they can trust you. And why they should buy from you, not your competitors. Copy shouldn't be at the bottom of the priority list. It should be at the top. Just underneath where you've written 'To-Do List'.
With a flick of my magic copy wand (aka my hands and brain), I'm here to take the stress out of writing.
I'm a creative copywriter and proofreader (and a true perfectionist). I have a Fine Art and Business Studies degree (with first-class honours) - I'm a fast learner, a quick thinker and I've got a sharp eye for mistakes.
My ideal clients are ones who care. People, animals, the environment - if they matter to you, then you matter to me.
Random facts about me:
- I love all things art (I have a Fine Art degree with first-class honours, not that I mention that a lot) and interior design
- I've got a 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier
- I own about 40 houseplants
- I'm a terrible cook
- I have a weird talent for remembering people's birthdays
My promises as a copywriter
I always keep my promises. Like when I'm watching a TV series with someone, I never watch an episode without them. It's called loyalty.
So, this is what you get when we work together:
ππ» Copy that's packed with strategy: because I know the persuasive techniques that make customers want to buy.
ππ» Regular project updates: so you never feel left in the dark with no idea what's going on.
ππ» Showing up and delivering on time: that means copy when you expect it, and never being late to Zoom meetings.
ππ» Belief in you and your business: I only work with creative business owners who care (my copy's for good, not evil!).
ππ» Confidentiality: I'm happy to write copy discreetly, so there'll be no trace of it on my website or social media.
"Best decision ever."
"I contacted Natasha because I was in the process of restructuring my design business, realigning with myself and reconnecting with my community and I knew that copywriting was the tool that would help me succeed in all of this. I knew I could count on Natasha! She is super talented, caring and sweet so I went into the project completely relaxed and confident this was going to be a success! Natasha was able to understand my feelings, my way of speaking and approach with people and clients and she translated all of this into copy that truly represents me 100%. It was the best decision ever and I can finally say my website will feel COMPLETE for the first time! Immensely grateful for all you did Natasha."
