Do your blog post copywriting packages include SEO?

Yes! I partner with an SEO content strategist who takes care of the on-page SEO (including keyword research, SEO competitor analysis, meta titles and meta descriptions) to set up good foundations for your content and give you the best chance of ranking. Please note: this doesn't include advanced technical SEO (such as site speed and schema markup).

What's included with the on-page SEO?

So many things! You'll get keyword research and optimisation, SEO competitor analysis so we can see what (and how!) your competitors are doing, meta title and meta descriptions, internal linking recommendations, CTA alignment with search intent and image alt text guidance.

Here's a more detailed look at the juicy SEO goodness your blog posts get:

- Primary target keyword for the article
- Search volume + difficulty for that keyword
- Search intent insights (identifying the most suitable angle or format based on current ranking trends)

What's my role in the SEO process for blog posts?

Good question! Your role is to give input on the topics (including context and insights) you'd like us to cover. Each month, you'll send me the blog post topic(s) via email or a quick Zoom call (whichever you prefer!) and my SEO content strategist will check they're viable. She'll then do keyword research and an in-depth analysis of the topic. (Aka we'll come up with an SEO angle that fits what you want to talk about!) 

You also need to make sure your posts get indexed (don't worry, it's simple – you can do it through Google Search Console). Your posts naturally get indexed over time, but my SEO content strategist recommends manually doing it from the beginning! (Need some help? Let me know!)

From a wider SEO point of view, you need to make sure your site is operating well, including checking mobile responsiveness, accessibility and general set up – like URLs, meta data, navigation and condensing slow-to-load images etc. (Let me know if you have any questions!)

Is it worth posting a blog every month?

Absolutely! One blog post a month is the ideal starting point for keeping your website fresh and appeasing the Google gods - and your potential clients, of course. 

Google's job is to present the best information to its users to make sure people trust and keep using Google, so you need to prove you know what YOU are talking about in your blog posts. By posting about relevant topics in your industry every month, you're showing you have experience and expertise, building up your authority, using keywords that fit with each other and broaden your knowledge, providing depth and reminding Google that you're active. 

All of that goodness helps give Google the green light to show that your content is good enough to show to users when they search for your relevant topic. Yay!

Should I keep all my blog posts on my website or should I delete older ones?

Definitely keep them! You could use a filter system on your website to help clients find exactly the information they're looking for. You should also update older posts to make sure they're still relevant with up-to-date info.

I'm worried that my subscribers will think I'm annoying if I email them... what do I do?

Don't you worry! People only sign up to the emails they *want* to receive, so that means your customers are looking forward to hearing from you. Don't leave them hanging! (And if they ever do feel like they want to leave, they can easily unsubscribe.)
