Need a tip to help you remember?

It's easier for Americans, because the 'practice' spelling is used for the verb and the noun in American English ðŸ¦…

But for us Brits, 'practise' is the verb and 'practice' is the noun ðŸ«–

'Practise' means: 'to do something repeatedly in order to master it' or 'to pursue as an occupation or art'.

Example - 'I'm going to practise the piano.'

'Practice' means: 'the actual application or use of an idea, belief, or method, as opposed to theories relating to it' or 'the habit or expected procedure or way of doing of something'. It can also mean 'an office belonging to certain professionals'.

Example - 'I'm working at the dentist's practice.'

Here's a tip:

If you think about how ice is a noun 🧊 you'll remember practICE is a noun.
