the person or company that has formally entered into the agreement. (That's
you.)

Adlam Copywriting refers to the
business entity trading as Natasha Adlam Copywriting. (That's me.)
Quotations
means a formal proposal document or
price estimates provided by email.
Approved
copywriting brief means the materials
from which the work is to be based upon.
Urgent
work means copywriting work needed
(finalised) within 7 days.
Larger
projects mean projects requiring more than 25
hours of work.
1. QUOTATIONS
1.1. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the submission date.
1.2. The copywriting quotation will be confirmed on receipt of the approved copywriting brief from the Client, when most of the complexities of the project are known.
1.3. Any project estimates provided before the Client approves the copywriting brief are not guarantees of delivery and should not be taken as such.
1.4. Quotations do not include liaising with other agents such as graphic designers, couriers or web developers, or meetings outside of the initial copywriting brief unless previously agreed.
1.5. Any further activity beyond the agreed quotation will be subject to a revised quotation before the work commences.
1.6. These Terms and Conditions are implicitly agreed to on acceptance of the copywriting quotation provided and the instruction to proceed.
2. METHODOLOGY
2.1. The Client will nominate one primary contact to centralise all revisions and contact throughout the project, and this individual will have final sign-off.
2.2. Approval of the copywriting brief and the copywriting itself will be via email by the Client.
2.3. Proofreading will commence once the copywriting has been approved by the Client.
2.4. Revisions should be returned within one week of each draft being delivered to ensure the project is kept to the agreed timeline. If revisions aren't submitted within this timeframe, the copy will be considered complete.
3. PAYMENT
3.1. A non-refundable commencement fee of 50% of the total quoted amount is required on acceptance of the quotation by the Client to ensure the project is secured in Natasha Adlam Copywriting's calendar. However, if the total quoted amount is £200 or less, the amount will be due in full before the project starts.
3.2. The commencement fee paid will be deducted from the total, and the remaining 50% will be due 14 days after the final version is delivered.
3.3. Payment must be made by bank transfer.
3.4. Unless prior arrangements are made, payments not received within the payment terms will attract a late fee charge of £20 (twenty pounds) per day past the invoice deadline.
3.5. It is agreed that the copyright for any work delivered to the Client remains the intellectual property of Natasha Adlam Copywriting until all monies due have been paid.
3.6. If payment defaults, Natasha Adlam Copywriting will list the Client with the appropriate debt collection and credit reporting agencies.
3.7. Urgent work may incur a 25% surcharge because other projects may need to be shifted to accommodate.
3.8. If the Client needs to terminate the job due to unforeseen circumstances, Natasha Adlam Copywriting will only invoice for the time spent and work completed to date.
4. LIABILITY, RELEASE AND INDEMNITY
4.1. All materials provided by the Client are assumed legal and accurate.
4.2. It is agreed between the parties that Natasha Adlam Copywriting cannot be held responsible for how the material produced is used once the Client has approved the final draft, and Natasha Adlam Copywriting is harmless against any and all claims, costs, and expenses, due to the content included in any work undertaken at the request of the Client.
4.3. With so many factors contributing to the success of a piece of copywriting, Natasha Adlam Copywriting cannot make any guarantees as to the performance of the copy created for the Client.
4.4. Natasha Adlam Copywriting may like to publish extracts of the final version as part of ongoing marketing efforts to support the growth of the business. If the Client would prefer this not to occur, please notify Natasha Adlam Copywriting.
